We pretty much stick to our own cars, but we have no problem driving each others.

I don't mind her diving mine, and it's a six speed manual w/200+ hp

I love driving hers, a 2000 MX-5(Miata)1.8iS, what a hoot that car is on the backroads!

Yes. My boyfriend doesn't have a car right now, and he is free to use mine whenever he wants. I even put him on my insurance. As a result I haven't had the car for two weeks, but he needs it more than I do right now.

Peace,
Dezign

Yeah I let my girlfriend drive my 450SL once. I put the top down and I could tell she liked it. She is a better driver than I am so I will gladly let her drive it whenever she wants.

I let my wife drive my truck whenever she needs to. She looks a little out of place though, she's only 5'1" 112 lbs. and she looks kinda funny behind the wheel of an F-150 :)

Over reacting my ass! A competent driver doesn't just put a car up on the curb for no reason. Suffice it to say she now drives the car worth less than 1/3 the value of the Passat.

I usually don't have problems with anybody I'm riding with getting over the curb because by that time I'm climbing up the side of the car because I am so nervous. I hate seeing good tires get torn to pieces by a curb. I totally agree that you weren't over reacting.

Hell no I won't let my SO drive my car. She's used to all the clunker and POS cars she's had and drives them without care. In one day she had like 4 curb checks, she makes illegal right turns and cuts people off, and worries more about her GOD DAMN cell phone than watching the road. The only person I will let drive my car is my best friend of 11 years. He has a nice car like mine and respects that the car is more important than anything else.
