No, waste of electricity. Only time I leave it on overnight is if I'm downloading something.

All of our computers (5 in the house) run 24 X 7 X 365. They are all also running Folding@Home.

"Sucking up electricity" is not an accurate expression. The amount of electricity an idle computer with the monitor off uses is practically negligible. Mostly it's just spinning the fans.
