Do you leave your blinds open at night or close them?

Ehh .... I opted to move my master bedroom into the basement, and the window well in my bedroom goes under my deck .....

So, it's always dark 🙂

If I was above ground ... I would put some blackout curtains up....

Just took this to show you what it looks like.

I have to use thumb tacks and shit to secure it down at night so it doesn't let any light in in the middle of the thing because the curtains don't overlap close enough on their own. I have to use tacks to hold them down really tight and shit together so light doesn't get through.

Its a good thing you can't afford to go to college, you would never sleep in a dorm room.

😛 I don't plan on living in an dorm ever.

I hated living in a dorm room, but I think that's the point. It teaches you to deal with crummy situations you don't like.

You have to deal with a desk too small to work. You have to deal with a roommate who can't fall asleep without the radio on. You have to deal with blinds that might as well not be there. Etc, etc.

I have to say, it sucked but I learned a lot from it. I now live in an apartment by myself, but, nonetheless, I'm a much better person for having lived in a dorm room.

totally agree.

I hated living in a dorm, but overall, I think it was a character building experience.

after getting locked out of your dorm room with nothing but a towel and having to walk down to the lobby in front of everyone to get the RD to give you a spare key, many many things don't seem as stressful in comparison.

I live in a big city, so they're closed mostly. I have large, floor to ceiling windows so it's nice to sit and have a cup of coffee on the weekend with the blinds open but for the most part they stay shut.

My living room and bedroom blinds are closed most of the time because when I am home I am usually either watching TV, on the Computer, sleeping, or am nekkid. I keep the solarium blinds open so my bunnies can get some sunshine during the day.

Closed in the winter to help retain heat, open in the summer to help cool the house. And my bedroom window will be wide open on nights the peepers are out. I love to fall asleep with the cool breeze, listening to the peepers. 🙂
