Do you know what meh means?

Meh is the text equivalent of shrugging your shoulders, not caring, showing discontent.

Ex:

How was your day?
Meh.
That bad?

It means you don't care enough to give a decent response.

That is the total truth. I use "meh" when someone IM's me and I am playing a game or just not wanting to talk.

<< "eh" is the last word Canucks use at the end of every sentence. >>

no, thats more of an "ey"

Canadian: "having fun, ey?"

use of eh/meh:

"having fun?"
"eh"

"having fun?"
"meh"

I always thought it was another way to say, "me." My ex used to say "meh," but my god, how awful did it sound. Ghetto bizatch.

i bet its ghetto talk! or poser talk!

<< Why do I haf to feel dix way?
why kan't u cEe?
dat I wunt u hea wif mEeh
Togetha we will bEe
fer alwayx en eternytEe
En muh hart I Hope u'll cEe...
>>

I think the etymology is from the Yiddish "m'shigas" (meh- shug-es) meaning craziness, also "meshugana" (meh-shoog-eh-nah) meaning crazy person.

So when you see something to deride as being exasperatingly crazy, you would say, "m'shigas". Over time and laziness, that has been shortened to "meh".

Its like "bleh" or "blah"
for example:
Guy1: What do you think of this new car?
Guy2: Well it looks nice but the acceleration is just meh.
