Its a small town with a small hospital. It changed names since its inception, and my birth, but it is still there. I was also there when I was a toddler (broke my femur), but I was late getting a copy of the medical records later in life as they only kept records for something like 40 years.

I have a pretty good idea which one, I just know it was in Staten Island NY.

The hospital isn't on the BC.

Was not born in a Hospital. I was born at home. Of course people don't do that sort of thing anymore.

According to Mom I was born in Pete's Liquors, aisle 3 between the bourbons and scotches. She was more fuzzy about where I was conceived.

My Mom has worked there for over 30 years and we lived almost literally next door for 20 years so I know it pretty well.

I know, since I kinda recall when they built the new hospital even though I would have been like 4. The old hospital was recently fully renovated into an old age home. So for all I know, I could end up dying in the same room I was born. Talk about doing a full 360. lol

Interestingly I can't recall ever visiting the old hospital. I remember it being there, and I remember the lit blue H on top, but not the inside.

Old image before my time: (1920's I think)

Then it got expanded:

At the top of the larger section you can see the metal frame for where the H sign would have been.

I was born at St. Joseph's, Omaha, Nebraska. It is now a teaching hospital called Creighton University Med School.

I was born in 1968 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Burbank, CA, as were my children in 1991, 1996 and 2000. My family isn't Catholic and the hospital is about 30+ miles through traffic away from where we lived. It just worked out that my wife's doc delivers kids there, as did my mother's back when I was just a twinkle in her eye.
