Do you know what booboo is?

I'm really sorry to have to even ask this but my girlfriend has stumbled on a frightening slanguistic (I just made that word up) disconnect. It seems that white people don't know what booboo is. It's not even the main entry on urban dictionary.

Where are you from and did you know that booboo is a childish euphemism for feces and/or the act of defecation?

I'm from Texas and booboo does not mean shit/shitting to me.

I've never ever heard it used that way.

Amazing.. well it does. It's the only way I knew how to refer to it when I was little. Until the 2nd grade or so when I got hit by a car and put in the hospital and a nurse asked if I needed to move my bowels.

I'm truly startled that more people did not know about booboo.

It's just you.

this is an opportune moment for you to pick up the phone, call your parents, and ask them "WTF?"

booboo means to shat, there was a commerical for some talking kiddie doll and the commercail went "uh oh! I gotta booboo!" my and my GF would crack up every time we saw it. It got pulled from TV quick, but while in rotation it was on the tube a lot.

where I come from booboo means to dookie yourself.

No its not. There's a song about it. the word is used in all three of the Friday movies. It must be a black thing.

That can't be right. So the black word for "My significant other" is "boo".

And boo-boo is really poo-poo. So in essence you call the person you love shit?

What? Where in the movies?

In the 1st movie, when Smokey has to go home to go number two he says something like, "man my stomach hurt.. Imma go home an' booboo"

in the 3rd movie during the party Ice Cube's character's father has to use the bathroom, which is occupied, so Ice Cube is banging on the door saying "Open up, my pops gotta go booboo"

I dunno when it gets used in the second but it's nearly on the same level of catch phrase as "you got knocked the fuck out" so I'd bet money that someone says it at least once in the 2nd movie as well.
