Do you know of any VB 6.0 tutorials?

If you're serious about learning, get a book. The thing is, you're not gonna find any good, thorough, free tutorials on the web, because if someone is gonna take the time to put together something that elaborate, they'll be smart enought to publish it and make a book.

Its true :) Get a cheap book - not a "learn in 24 hours thing" though!

i have two books that i got from our univ library, but they are both too damn complicated and skip many many essential details. i am just curious if anyone has found anything good electronically, and thanks for the help.

Forget those - get a beginners book and after reading through it you'll feel like you know quite a bit.

Are you sure that it isn't just that programming is a little tougher than you thought it might be? ;) LOL, seriously, just get a decent book. I recommend either "Sam's Teach Yourself Visual Basic in 21 Days" or anything by Greg Perry if you can find it. I don't know if Mr. Perry ever wrote anything on VB, but he's my favorite programming author that I've found, other than Andre LaMothe but that's a different story...

DAM: With or without a solid programming background, it never hurts to buy a book and get a solid understanding.

Just my 2¢.
