Do you know many girls that are permapissed?

I came up with this term probably 2-3 years ago. It basically is an adjective or state of being perma(nently) pissed.

You know what I am talking about? The girls that always seem like they are making sad faces, or frowning. They walk by themselves to class or down the halls of your office, or sometimes in public on the sidewalks. They cross their arms even though it's sunny outside and they are moving! They seem like they are giving you dirty looks but nope, that's just their "normal face". You make a joke and they laugh or smile (well attempt to anyway), so you know they are not really upset at anything.

I know plenty of women like that and see strangers everyday suffering from this syndrome.

What do you think about them? I think it's a major turnoff and really sad.

Major turnoff and really sad, yes. But everyone has their own problems. It's the way that you handle them that makes you who you are, so I don't feel bad for them. I think pitty is a disgusting thing.

They probably have menstrual problems, where they menstruate constantly. That would make me uncomfortable all the time too.

yes, i know a few girls like this. i think it has to do with wanting attention. it seems as nothing is ever right. In the end, she just wants you to ask "awww, wahts wrong?" just to get attention.

i cant stand being around those kinda girls because it, in turn, makes me depressed because they have such a bad outlook.

Yep I sure do. I avoid her at all cost...but she is dating a friend of mine so sometimes I have no choice.

Yes GOTH chicks are one of them. If you live in a big city you will see teenage goth guys and girls sitting by store walls, along the sidewalks in their black hooded sweatshirts. They rock back and forth like they are coming down from drugs.

MangoTBG - You are making the common mistake in believing these people actually have problems! I can't say I can speak for the strangers but I have friends like this. They are permapissed everyday of their lives!

Hmph. I don't find this phenomenom to be gender specific. There are permapissed dudes, too.

Wouldn't you say that the fact that they crave attention and can only get it by acting that way as being a problem, on of itself? I would ;) But I see what you are saying!

Hey, don't bag on the Goth chicks. I married one, although she's now an ex-Goth chick. :D

Goth chicks get married?!

Yeah, why not? There are Goths from all walks of life. My wife had a friend from the Goth scene that was a neurosurgeon, for example.

i dunno, i think it's really fun to say/do stuff that irks them. and a lot of times there'll be some sexual tension.

Yeah, there's one in the cube facing mine.

I have a great job, with lots of perks, but to have to come in and hear about her boyfriend, cat, car trouble, parents and so on every morning certainly starts to taint the outlook on being at work. Fortunately, I have ATOT to get some good laughs in every morning.

Wouldn't a mirror suffice?

I have 2 friends that are like this. I relized the other day that they never have actually ever said anything nice to me. They used to be best friends, but ended up hating eachtoher after awhile.

Wow. That's either really cool or really scary; I haven't quite decided which.

There's a certain female member of the ATOT community who I'd put in the "permapissed" category lately..

I think we can all take a good guess at who that might be. By the same token, there's a certain male member who I would say has been permapissed since he was born.
