Do you know if the the Nokia 6xxx accessories are compatible with the Nokia 8xxx phone?

The charger from my Nokia 6162 seems to fit into my Nokia 8260, but is the charger made to work w/it? Would it damage my Nokia 8260 battery if I used it?

I used to have Nokia 6110 and just switched to 6210 (yeah, Euro GSM models) and have charged them with various chargers from Nokia 3xxx, 5xxx, 6xxx and 8xxx models. My rule of thumb has been that if it fits the plug without excessive violence and is original Nokia part then I'll use it 😉

And the disclaimer: I don't recommend this to anyone.
