Do you know about COMPAQ?? yes? then i need you HELP PLEASE

Since there is no narration as to the problem I will assume it's no display on the screen. I can hear the fans start up and you have LED lights so power is obviously not an issue and there is HDD activity. Have you tried connecting an eternal monitor? This will confirm/eliminate the video adapter as the problem. If you get a signal to the external monitor then it's your laptops display panel.

No I haven't try that. I'm going to try the monitor an I'll let you know what happens.

So if the laptop works with the external monitor. What do you think I should do to fix this lil problem?

Well if it is there a couple of fixes depending on the problem, when you power up if there is a very faint display, barely visible in a bright room so try it in as dark a room as possible, then it is probably the LCD inverter which is a fairly easy fix. They cost usually less then 25 bucks, you can get one on ebay, just be sure to order the correct one for your compaq model. As I said the replacement procedure is easy, check out step by step directions on line, there are even some pretty good you tube videos on the procedure. Now it also may be the bulb (there is actually a fluorescent bulb in there) which can go bad. That too is replaceable. If that is the problem, you will not see any signal at all. Good luck and let us know how you are progressing.

I'm a 1,000% sure that is not a bulb or converter problem. Because the laptop doesn't even start up. Watch the video and you will see what I mean.

I think what I have to do is to try to find out what that flashing light mean and start from there.

At the beginning I thought that I could fix it with the REFLOW TRICK but it didn't work. Idk why.

I took every part outta the laptop and still the same.

Idk what to do any more if I don't find out what that flashing light mean.

I think the only solution is to get a new motherboard.

But I feel like I still can fix it but I need your help guys!!!!

Thanks!!!

RTFM? What does the manual say about the flashing lights.

also, I would pull DIMMs and HDD out to try and make it POST error.

Yes I did pull every single part outta the laptop
Battery, wireless, hard drive, DVD, even the memory and still got the same.

What?!? Lol yes it comes with the video integrated.
I wish I had a laptop with a motherboard that I can upgrade the video card 😛

So I guess the only option is to buy a new motherboard?

I'd get the manual and check it out first. also, have you tried clearing CMOS?
