Do you often find yourself as the last poster on what previously was a very active thread? Does it seem like your carefully constructed, well thought-out, witty contributions often go unnoticed or ignored? Have you ever considered changing your name to IMAPERSONTOO, PLZNOTICEME, or RESPONSENEEDED?

Hahah, sure, but I'm married, so I'm used to my "carefully constructed, well thought-out, witty contributions" going unnoticed and ignored.

:p

No man is ever a prophet in his own home. The voice of reason is often ignored. Just a fact.

not so much here as other places. there's always someone at ATOT who wants the last word. It would be great if the mods could get some sort of post analyzing going on and have the top forum whore every week, person who has the smallest word per post avg, person who posts last the most etc.

Yes. Of course, I won't be able to kill this thread, because everyone else who also kills threads by the submission of their posts will also be trying to kill it. ;)

I seriously used to wonder why this happened to me, especially since I always have something witty or thought provoking to say.....:)

It happens every once in a while. I think posters are given a response priority level in lots of people's minds. Popular ATOT personalities (Nik, DainBramaged, Ryan, Red Dawn, Amused, Moshquerade, KarenMarie, Zim Hosein, and several others) almost always get responses because people think it's cool to talk to them. They're the celebrities of ATOT. Then there's everybody else, for them it's a crapshoot. On the one hand people might be interested in what they have to say, on the other hand they are easily ignored because no percieved ATOT popularity points can be gained by talking to them. Same thing happens in real life with popular people, I think.
