Do you keep Windows around even though you have Linux?

  • Yes, I keep Windows on dual boot

  • Yes, I have a computer specifically for Windows

  • Yes, I actually just run Linux in a VM or have it on an external device (CD, Flash stick)

  • Sort of, I have Windows in a VM and/or keep Wine around

  • No

Like it or not, Windows is pretty hard to avoid in the modern world. I have Windows and Ubuntu, they both do what I need them to do. I have to have Windows around to run software that works with expensive, but fully workable, peripheral devices.

Yes. I dual boot. Windows for games and a couple odds-and-ends windows-only apps, and Linux for almost everything else.

Oddly, though, Folding@Home seems to run a lot faster on my Windows side. Should probably look into that one of these days.
