Yup usually when I'm alone or at work doing my routine stuff. Doesn't really get to me.

Yeah i do, have always wondered though, if you didn't teach a kid any language at all would it continue to talk to itself in gaga goo goo language?

somewhat yes. i think & hope it is normal! :)

i talk to myself very rarely... sometimes i say something out loud to inanimate objects... such as on Friday when i finished installing my new programmable thermostat.

it was up, it looked good & worked fine, so i just looked at it and said, "WOOPTIE WOOP!"

I do. It's not so bad until we begin to argue. Then things get physical. You just have to remind yourself that this hurts me more than it hurts you.

I talk to myself all the time. It's only way I can hear myself above the voices.

I also have a musical soundtrack running through my head at all times. It's nice when it corresponds to the music to which I'm currently listening but that isn't always the case. Sometimes the internal music is so loud it's kind of jarring when it shuts off.

I sometimes wonder the same thing. When they saw an object would they make up their own sound for it? How would their brain process it?

I talk to myself all the time. I get it from my dad. Sometimes hes talking to me and if I have to leave to go do something else he keeps talking. I'm never really sure if I should stay and listen or if he's just talking to himself.

everything is broken down to a brain impluse. when you see a pencil, your brain doesn't think pencil, it gives off (or whatever) the impulse, so it acts much quicker. also you really don't read after you're over 13 or so, it's more of your mind seeing the word and showing an impulse... you don't go "re-mem-ber" you know its remember.

Constant dialogue? I'm not sure. If you mean that I'm talking to myself in my mind all the time, then yes.
