Do you have trouble finding clothes that fit?

I usually buy my clothes from places like Gap or OldNavy (Yes I know they are the same thing) andI often find none of the clothes really fit. I have a really long torso and a think a little bit chuby, but not fat at all. In order to get a shirt that goes past plants, I have to get an XL. It is almost like whereing a trash bag. Am I a freak?(Setting myself up)

YES YOU ARE!

But this is coming from the 6"7 guy with Shaq-sized arms (not even kidding.. Mine are two inches shorter than his), and I don't even wear SHORT sleeves cuz they're too small.. I usually end up with either tailored dress shirts, short-sleeves that are two sizes too big, or muscle tees.

Yep.

I'm 6', 185 pounds and wear 38" waists w/ 32" length. I've got abnormally wide hips without being fat/big. It sucks because I need the waist size that big to make it around the outside of my hip bones, but I've got room for two in the front and back. I've got about twice as much ass & leg room than I really need. I'm...oddly...proportioned.

Look for shirts marked with a "T". It means tall. They tend to be longer in length and have longer arms without turning your shirt into a poncho.

You can find XLTs pretty easily, but not too many LTs, and he sounds like an XL is even too big for 'im.

fit? no. fit well? yes.

I like baggy clothes, so I usually have to buy a size or two higher and it becomes like wearing a trash bag.

Near as I can tell, off-the-rack men's clothes are pretty much all styled to fit Mister Potatohead: round body, big in the middle, and short toothpick-sized arms and legs. I was just out shopping last night for some more wardrobe options for today (6:00AM call time...whee!). I don't trust wardrobe departments unless we have a lot more prep time, so I usually pick up something myself, in case the wardrobe department has, once again, completely failed to get anything that will actually fit. But it's not at all easy to find anything that fits my sleeve and inseam sizes (both 38"), anything that fits in the shoulders is large enough for me and another two cast members around the waist, as is anything that fits over my thighs. Used to be much worse before "baggy" was in--except, of course, "baggy" is just a code word for "actually does fit over the thighs instead of inside them."

Had my share of problems with tailors, too. I've gone in to have suits taken in around the waist and had them take in the chest to the point where I couldn't put them on. I don't understand this; this is after doing all the measurements and "marking up with chalk" stuff.

But at least clothes shopping must be easy for anyone whose body was designed by Hasbro.

I went in there the other day... you have quite the selection of highly metrosexual pink and purple shirts to choose from.

That's weird considering they are all the same company...

Timberland pants fit me the best...I have no idea why but they do...

It's true. Old navy is truly designed to fit fat asses for their men's clothing.

I never step foot in that store so I'll have to take your word for it...

Yep. It sounds like you're a mall shopper, so try shopping in Eddie Bauer. They have "T" sizes in nearly everything.

I'm built funny as well and need "T" sizes for long sleeve shirts.

If I want to wear a shoe with any sort of heel I need pants with 34 inch inseam, finding those in a size 3/4 is difficult.Shirts are also tough sometimes too as I have wide shoulders and long arms.
