You don;t even have to do it for jury duty. I thought they would not use me but before I could say anything they juts said you don't have to swear on the bible if you don't want to.

I have placed many witnesses under oath over the years (in military courts, the prosecutor does it), and never had anyone refuse to swear to God. I am not religious, but have sworn to God on the rare occasions in which I have testified.
