No, I always thought that was a bit stupid, unless you're royalty.

Not if you have good credit. 😉 I have two friends that have benefited from having the same name as their father's, who have good credit.

I have not only the same name as my father, but also my grandfather. My dad's Jr., I'm III. I like the way it looks when I use my first name, middle initial, last name, and suffix.

I think that applies to me also.

If your names are all the same except for the suffixes, it does. I believe that that's what's on my birth certificate. All three of our names are identical except for the suffix. My grandpa doesn't have one, though. He's not Sr.

yep.

My dad and i have first, middle, last name the same. I dont actually use Jr. on anything i feel out but if i wanted to i could.

First name = granddad
Middle name = Father's middle name
Last name = Father's last name.

Does that count?

Same First, Middle, and Last as my dad. Same first and Last as my grandpa... yes, mail and holiday get togethers are fun 🙁

Same last...but my 4 year younger brother was named after my dad...not me...dunno how that worked out.
