Do you have severe MSG (Monosodium glutamate) reactions???

I do!
Went to wally world, they had these veggie snacks. Looked good and better than junk food (for a change). Well, 6 hours later I was on my death bed with a ER migraine head ache. A day later I went back to wally world to read the package of these little nice looking veggie snacks. And sure enough on the list, Monosodium glutamate (MSG'S).
I also noticed these were made in CA, and here they are at wally world in iOwa. And if thats not enough, the exp date was 11/24/07.

And they call these this "eating healthy"??? Give me my ho ho's back!!!!

(Some interesting info on MSG's)

BTW, I "think" msg's were once banned out in CA. No doubt some congressional lobby group got that over turned....??

The company making these: MANN'S SUNNY SHORES.
(killing you with "natural" ingredients)

That's a completely stupid statement.

I could say the same thing about peanuts, but it would be equally stupid. To me, peanuts or bananas or xxx is completely safe and harmless. But many people have allergic reactions to them and can even die.

Majority of people are allergic to peanuts or bananas?

MSG will bloat me out and some people have told me it raises their blood pressure. I figured it was used because it has an addictive quality. It's the reason you can't eat just one pringle, ruffles, whatever.

It would be true. The majority of humans do not have food allergies.

No. But some are. And that's what this thread is about.

Not addictive, Umani just tastes damn good.

"The bacteria are selected for their ability to excrete glutamic acid, which is then separated from the nutrient bath and made into its sodium salt, monosodium glutamate"

nope.

I use to work with a girl who did, though, and it sucked. we could only order chinese food from one restaurant and it was pretty bad.

So you have an issue with the first portion of his statement? Well it is false as even a good reaction is a reaction after all.

😀

I took his post the wrong way. I thought he made two statements: 1. It has no reaction. 2. It's harmless for the majority of the population. I was disagreeing with the first part.

There are some people that claim that MSG has no reaction for anyone, and I thought he was one of them.

I get high from MSG to the point that my wife has to drive us home from whichever restaurant we are eating at. Then I get a terrible hangover the next morning. Needless to say, i do not eat Chinese food that often, and if I do, it has to be on a weekend when I won't miss work.

Peace
