Voted large collection. I can't help it, I'm a digital hoarder.

---

A while back I worked at Office Depot and a customer came in with a PC that needed restoring. He didn't have the money for a full service so my boss offered to copy a bunch of his data up on DVDs for free prior to reinstall. As I got to the last DVD's worth of data, whjich was his User folder (pretty much his Downloads and Pictures, I think. The rest was mostly empty), I was watching file names stream by and I realized I was creating a DVD that largely only contained two things - his (recent) wedding photos and his porn collection.

We stopped the copy and put the collections on two separate discs.

Having porn stored locally can be dangerous if you're not savvy.

that's how I am.

storage is cheap enough that I don't really have a reason to delete anything... I've got a 4 drive NAS with 6TB usable, and it's not even half-filled (the bulk of the storage is porn, plus my DVD collection that I ripped and imported into Plex so that I can watch a movie in any room of the house without needing to dig for the disk or actually have a DVD player hooked up to the TV)

I made a pass when first migrating it from local storage onto the NAS, when I deleted all my crappy, low-res movies from the early 00's (except a few with sentimental value), but that's about it.

No need for files or links. I keep that info locked in my head if ever I need it again. Can't use against me what isn't there.

I've clarified with my wife... I could careless if she finds my porn collection 😀 I don't even hide it anymore. I used to do the whole hidden folder/files things.

She has already said she doesn't care, as long as it's not cheating with another woman she's all good.

...though.... it probably wouldn't be too good if she found some of it..... what has been seen cannot be unseen kind of thing.

When I was getting my masters degree, I had a job at an IT help desk for my college in the University. When our dean got a new laptop, I was tasked with setting it up. When I was backing up the old one, I looked in his libraries and there were a bunch of porn videos in his music folder. I laughed and looked at my boss and he took over. He said the policy was to make sure it was legal. Apparently, it was, and my boss later said he backed up copies for himself...

Make sure it was legal? How is there such thing as legal digital file porn? So they seriously just backed up the porn for the Dean and put it on the new laptop? Srsly?

Legal as in not CP or bestiality or whatevs. I don't think the files made it to the new laptop, lol. It's been 8 years or so *shrug*

Jared had illegal porn (you know what type). You have nothing to worry about unless otherwise.

Although you can do a DoD wipe that should be pretty sufficient.
Wow. Talk about jumping to conclusions. He's already guilty in the eyes of the public? 🙄

Phone? No. Computer? No. NAS....measured in TBs. In general I'm a packrat, so once I get my hands on something I always have it.

I store my porn on the internet. You should see the size of my collection though. Feel free to browse anytime.

You asked an either/or question then gave 4 answers, none of which could possible answer the either/or question.

Who stores porn with the internet?

Not sure how to answer. Do pics from my colonoscopy count as porn?

If you're into that sort of thing?

<considers making a penetration joke but decides against it>

Loads of people?

Who downloads movies and keeps them "with the Internet"? Your question is just as applicable to anything else that is possible to download from the Internet, yet I very much doubt that the total terabytes of capacity of ATOT users are solely dedicated to digital camera photo collections, music (again, Internet?), work files, etc.

One of my customers has something like 8TB of storage, maybe more, and has their computer downloading pretty much all day long as far as I'm aware.

Pretty sure I had more than 8 TB ten years ago.

Got a couple of GB's on an encrypted external HD. No porn on my phone, incase someone would need to borrow it. Usually, I just stream everything on youjizz 😀
