I am a Java developer but don't have any Java runtime or VM installed on my desktop machine.

I just don't want to use sites that utilize applets. I don't think Java is fitting for that and don't want to be pushed the content. Good websites will be useable without it and I don't play lame 2D games on websites so it makes my life easy and I don't need Java.

In fact, I've never seen a worthwhile site that was only accessible using Java. Can someone show me one?
 
I just got 2003 server and it doesn't have the MS VM. I think you can probably get the MS VM by googling it.
