And I'm a social moderate, fiscal conservative. Like I said, you should take your stereotypes and rage and direct them at your boyfriend, not people that disagree with your lifestyle.

It is rather lame to try to pull the entire "I think I am better than you card" by asking others what they own and do for a living.
Sounds like some massive insecurity complex, if you were to ask me.

Also it is very close minded of you, Gatsby, to give somebody hell for stating their honest opinion. I think he gave his opinion without any sort of spite or hatred. He stated he is not homophobe but also doesn't approve of that lifestyle.
It is pretty audacious of you to attack him because of that.

Agreed, he does appear to have insecurity issues. I did become more hostile later on but only after he took the initiative.

I'm not comparing me to him, just seeing if hits into the common mold of people who think like him.
 
I don't consider myself to be homophobic. I fully support gay rights and have no issues with their lifestyle or sexual preference, but I find overly feminine gay men annoying. It seems so put on, so contrived.

Well, technically, it is anti-evolutionary. Any supporter of eugenics would be against homosexuality.

As to whether or not I'm homophobic, no, but nevertheless, I do not want a gay man (or a straight man, or a woman of any sexual orientation, for that matter) to penetrate me.

Do you realize, that with a sense of irony, that you are the closed minded hypocritical one here?
You assume that only smart people can be accepting of the homosexual lifestyle, or rather that only idiots would not accepted it. Furthermore you assume that there are certain traits, molds, of people who do not approve of that sort of lifestyle.

Basically that is a lot of ill-conceived assumptions on your part.

The guy said he is not homophobic but also doesn't approve of the lifestyle, which hardly is reason to essentially call him an idiot for stating his opinion. It could be part of his religion, ethics, or whatever and not necessarily a case of sub-par intelligence.
