Would rather not be balding, but It's no big deal.
Wanted to shave it all off but the wife isn't cool with that.

Even if a miracle drug out there would bring it all back I probably wouldn't buy it though. There are more important things (to me) that I'd rather spend my money on.
And, there's not a chance in the world I'm going to be someone's pet project for hair regrowth. Someone said "you only see the BAD attempts at hair replacement... you don't see the good ones because they look or are natural. Hmm, there's a reason why 'hair clinics' are advertised on tv and not held as actual events to attend. On tv they can make anything look good.

IMO, if you're so insecure as to have to spend that kind of change to get hair then you have other issues in life. But that's just me.

My grandfather was totally gray by the age of 28. I'm 24, going on 25 in a few months. I'm noticing my gray hairs more and more now.

Hell, I'd rather go gray than bald 🙂 We'll see what happens in the years to come.

Same story with me and my father. He was totally gray by age 30. At 23 my hair is starting to get speckled with them. The upside is that my hair is very thick and not likely to recede. My father has pretty much a full head of hair at 71 years old.

No hair loss or change of colors at age 21. My hair is naturally black and I'm surprised I grow brown goatee instead black.

why do guys care so much about their hair loss? I've never heard a woman or girl say, "wow, he'd be hot - if he wasn't so bald"... when you are assessing a guy's attractiveness, the amount of hair left is pretty low on the list of things you are ticking off. More important is his face, his smile, the way he dresses. think about someone like Sean Connery, who women consistently rate as super sexy -- he has had a seriously receding hairline for decades. He's practically bald on the top of his head now. Yet women still find him sexy. So clearly hair loss is not going to turn women off. Therefore you have to ask, why is this such an issue for straight guys?

I'd be pretty hot too if I was multi-millionaire.

My hair started to thin about 5 years ago but I now use Nizoral Shampoo 3x/week and it has completely stopped shedding. It seems to even have reversed it somewhat as I no longer look like I have a thinning hair problem at all. Quite normal now.

Are you using prescription Nizoral?

I have a pretty pronounced Jack Nicholson widow's peak and a little thinning on top. It'd be nice to have more hair, but I'm thankful to look as good as I do at 44. It did bother me a lot when I was in my 20s, mostly because I thought it would get worse - but it never did. I just accept it. It's part of being a man.

I'm going, and going fast. I have shaved my head for about 15 years, and thought I might be going, but when I tried to grow it longer a couple of years back, I realized I was past the point of no return. Shaving it is. I have ample body hair that won't disappear ... why can't they transplant the hardy ass-hair to my head by now? 🙂

Ya I'm 21 and noticed 2 years ago I lost some hair from the front of my forehead. Nothing much so it has not troubled me. As for what I do about it...eat my vitamins and hope for the best 🙂

Mine is thinning out a lot in a medium sized circle on the top of my head. I have been using generic propecia for a few months now, nizoral 2% for close to a year, and minoxidil for over a year. It might have slowed the process down, but I certainly haven't regrown any. If it keeps getting worse I'm just going to say F it and shave my head.

always had a really high hairline, but it's been thining out at the top of my head, and I'm only 20, but whatever, I generally try to keep it shorter as it's less noticable, but other than that, just hope for the best.
