Do you have any gay friends?

I have one gay male friend and two bisexual female friends. But you know, none of that stuff ever comes up in conversation. If I go out with any of them, I don't notice anything different about them. They are just people that I am lucky enough to have made my friends.

Seriously, I live in Atlanta, so meeting folks of various orientations kinda goes with the territory. People are people and I don't care how you live, I only care what kind of person you are. It was fun to listen to the more conservative members of our community bitch about how "obscene" and "vulgar" the gay pride parade was last weekend. I thought it was a riot, personally.

You'd guess wrong. The transsexual phenomenon concerns gender identity, not sexual preference. It has to do with who you think you ARE, not who you want to sleep with.

Unfortunately, these days there are many histrionic posers and neurotics clamouring to be taken seriously as &quot;transgendered persons&quot; when they are, in fact, maladapted homosexuals or transvestites. On the Internet, such individuals seem to outnumber genuine transsexuals, who are much less likely to engage in endless whining and attention-grabbing maneuvers.



OK This particular one calls himself/herself a transvestite, and exclusively dates the same gender as himself/herself. So I am not sure the label is accurate in this case. I will delve further into this to find the true answer Maybe MY use of the word &quot;tranny&quot; is innacurate. You learn a new thing everyday.

They are VERY interesting. I plan on recording some footage in the near future but don't know how to share it with my anandtech friends. I have high speed access btw.
