I have a neighbor that's gay and I've become good friends with him. He's not the flamer variety, more of the just average joe type. All my other neighbors are complete @ssholes so I'm glad that I have his friendship. I never had a gay friend before but I find that I can talk much more easily with him than alot of my other male friends, which usually talk about sh*t, like I do with them too. I would really love to have a lesbian friend too. I want to hear all about her ordeals in the lesbian world and stuff.
Any lesbians here that want me as a friend? :D

My best girl friend is a lesbian, and I have two very good friends that are a gay couple who have been together for over 30 years.

I don't think so, but I don't think it matters if their straight or bi, as long as they don't hit on me ;)

I have a lot of gay friends. If you use the traditional definition of gay which means "HAPPY!" because they're HAPPY that I'm their friend.

I am confused by the post above.

My suitemate at college last year is gay and a few of my friends but then again I am bi and I sure love birthday presents from friends, anyway.

Yeah 3. One I knew for 2.5 years before he told me. I don't care. It's not my business.

1 gay friend (at least that I know of). He knows my opinion on things, I know his, and that's fine. We can agree to disagree on stuff, but that doesn't mean we can't be friends. The only thing I ask him to do is not discuss any 'conquest' stories in detail ;)

Sure a whole bunch. I can count about 5 off the top of my head.
My aunt is gay too.

I guess a "tranny" counts right.....so yes. I have known quite a few gays...I have lived in the San Fransisco of the North (Vancouver) for 20 years so it's inevetable.

Most have come and gone <<<---damn easy joke there :)

One of my best friends is bi, but I didn't know it for the longest. After he told me, I was like "uh.. ok, so what?". He's my buddy and his friendship means more than worrying about bending over in front of him to see if he'll get aroused. :)

I do it more often now to tease him because he can't any of me :)

I work with a dude that everyone says is gay. He sure acts like it but I don't know for sure and I sure as hell ain't gonna ask. He seems to be a good guy though, I hope he's not really gay.

I guess a "tranny" counts right.

You'd guess wrong. The transsexual phenomenon concerns gender identity, not sexual preference. It has to do with who you think you ARE, not who you want to sleep with.

Unfortunately, these days there are many histrionic posers and neurotics clamouring to be taken seriously as "transgendered persons" when they are, in fact, maladapted homosexuals or transvestites. On the Internet, such individuals seem to outnumber genuine transsexuals, who are much less likely to engage in endless whining and attention-grabbing maneuvers.
