i've stood up to big black people at bars who've been rude to my friends, does that count?

p.s. i love non-big, non-scary black people. quincy jone's daughter is hot!

Family? yes.
People who are going to be victims because of a crazy person. yes.
Rights?... Depends on how important the right was.
Religion? No.

I would die to defend someone that I care about and only if my death will be not in vain, and defending my country.

No. I might kill to protect my rights, but not die for them. My rights do me no good if I'm dead.

To paraphrase Patton... No good ever came from dying for one's rights. You make the other guy die for trying to take your rights.

Nowdays, probably not much more than to defend my family...once upon a time...well, as one of Uncle Sam's Misguided Children, I was willing to kill (and die if it came to that) for my country...nowdays, with the current administration, and the "values" of this country going down the toilet faster than last night's burrito...probably not...

i pretty much feel the same way

"No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country. "

I would die for my children and the right to bare arms. Since once we loose that right we will begin loosing all of our other rights.

If I am going to die it better be something so EVIL and BADASS that not even "The Prince of Darkness" himself would dare touch with 6 ft pole!

Pretty much anything that is a conviction for me is worth everything, including my (or someone elses) life. The only things that we really have are what we believe in.

Religious - Never
Moral - No
Rights you believe you should have - True freedom. Not this pseudo-freedom that the U.S. is fighting for. I don't believe in country.
Other - survival of the human race? Hahaha, yeah, I'm talking about extra terrestrials invading. I'm such a nerd... 😛

Edit: Family of course, I thought that went without saying...

1: My religion, my Lord
2: Give my life so that another may live
3: For my Country, so that we may stay a free country
And of course, for (certain members of) my family

I would die for my faith belief and also my right to bear arms. Also, for the rights of my family. Good thread so far, I like alot of the answers.

Doesn't number 2 invalidate the "certains members" part of your last statement?

1) I wouldn't give it a second thought to lay down my life for a friend or family member.
2) For my religion
3) For a moral cause.
4) In an emergency situation I would stand in the way of a bullet for a stranger

I wouldn't be willing to kill someone though unless it was to protect someone.

 I'll second that.
