Do you have alcoholism in your family? If so, do you drink?

Yes and yes but not much. I am usually the designated driver so I have to stay sober. Of course I am the DD because I don't like the way most people drive when they are sober and I don't really trust most people not to sneak a so called harmless drink at the bar.

I have alcoholism throughout my mom's side... I don't drink often, but I do. It's not something I'm concerned about.

no one in my family is alcoholic, although most of them drink once in a while. My dad drinks quite often, but olny has a beer or two, he doesn't really ever get drunk. I don't drink at all.

That's how I think too. I've never gone out and not been the DD. I trust myself, but I don't trust a lot of other people to actually NOT drink and be able to get us all home in one piece.

Yes, and rarely.

Its been a long time since I've gone out and gotten drunk with buddies tho, but I think I need that one of these days.

my father is a pretty heavy alcoholic, and i dont drink at all. i tried it, had a very bad experience and never drank again.

A little bit of alcoholism in my family. Not in recent generations though. Well, my dad will drink 2 beers after he gets home from work, before dinner. But he's been doing it for years with no problems so I wouldn't call it alcoholism. Myself, I used to get hammered once in a while, until I had a really bad experience (last new years). Since then, I've only drank enough to get me relaxed in larger social gatherings. No hard alcohol though, beer only. The hard stuff gives me killer headaches 🙁
