Do you have a small convection oven in your kitchen?

When I'm not cooking something large, I don't want to use the regular oven because it makes the kitchen really warm. Plus, save energy, right? Something like that.

I want to get a little convection oven, something that can be used for taquitos, Totinos pizza, chicken nuggets, tater tots, etc. An individual meal, if you will.

Recommendations? It should be able to handle a Totinos pizza, so inside width has to be at least, oh, 10 inches?

You mean a fucking toaster? Right? Please tell me nobody calls them "small convection ovens," toaster oven is the limit.

We got THIS toaster oven as a wedding gift. It has a convection feature and comes with a pizza tray. Also makes pretty good toast.

The geek in me likes the LCD display and lots of buttons also.

It's called a toaster oven.

a regular toaster oven doesn't have a fan.

OP, i have a small toaster/convection oven. i use it alot more than my regular oven.

I picked up a kitchaid convection oven from Costco a while back can cook a full sized pizza in it and a small roast. We use it more than our full-sized oven.

You guys are idiots. A convectional oven is a toaster oven that also uses air to circulate the heat, thereby cooking things faster and more evenly. At least know what you're talking about before you try to correct somebody.

I have a Kenmoore convectional oven. It actually works on 12" pizzas as well as smaller Totino's sized pizzas. I love it.

I might suggest getting a combination microwave/convection oven. And, most toaster ovens are not convection ovens.

Yep. They're very handy. I love my advantium. No preheating, convection oven and microwave.

Well I have a toaster oven that I use all the time. I only use my regular oven when it won't fit in the toaster oven.

If you lived near me you could have mine.

I never use it.

Gas oven heats up very quick and toaster oven takes up counter space so I haven't used it in over 2 years.

This is the one I have.

I works fine I just don't find the need for it anymore.

toaster oven =! convection oven

I thought about getting one, but we've got one in the kitchen at work and I haven't been overly impressed with it.

Yes I do and it works great. It is basically a toaster oven with a fan inside to blow around heat for better distribution.

What do you use to reheat pizza?

My friend has a B&D toast-r-oven with convection and it's awesome. He made up some sweet breaded mushrooms with it yesterday and I'm jealous with my regular Oster oven.

Eat it cold, use a microwave or use the regular oven.

With my gas oven it heats up very fast.
