LOL, there's a pretty good story on the making of the film on YT, amazingly Universal was getting so pissed off at SS going way over budget and taking way too long that they thought about pulling the plug on the entire thing, $8 million was a lot of $ in '74 but they eventually backed down and let him finish his masterpiece, it has grossed $485 million to date, would have been the LOL of a lifetime if they shut it down..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pC3bh0Yj-Fs

15 years and 20,000 posts later, I can almost guarantee nobody "follows" me or cares. Which is A-Ok.

Yes, I have two followings:
1) Rabid Phobes that crap themselves when called out. Because they tell it like it is, where as I don't know jack shit.
2) Mods.

You could take this as me slightly making fun of internet postings in off topic subjects. There's a non mocking side to it of course. If you're funny or inspiring, etc and get a following for it there are feelings of praise and some degree of respect along with the laughter or other positive reactions from your fans or followers. Not saying I'm funny or praised.

The man love jokes will probably appear like wanting to closely follow PlanetJosh for his man boobs or something and that's all very well and good, not that I would go out with a guy. Just as long as it's funny or insightful and you increase your following.

I have all kinds of followers who follow me away from anandtech.

Reporters,Actors and actresses, Lawyers,Doctors, famous rock bands,famous book writers, People who have escaped from north korea.
Yeah twitter is cool. The more that follow me then the more who know the truth about me and I have never lied about my story.
 
I'd say no, but I know one guy on here who thinks I'm a racist simply because I successfully guess what race he was based on the stereotypes he presented to me. This, of course is after he started a full blown argument with me because I made note that I though his thread sucked. He's blocked, this was years ago. I see that he still makes crappy threads sometimes as well.

Other than that, nope.
