I'll type up the official email and send it out, and I will call the people who need it "dumbed down" and let them know what's going on... Now they have direction from myself that I know they can understand, as well as a hard copy to place in their PST that they can go back to at any time if they need to refresh their memory...
you do realize you are probably hated for this right? When you call, the other person has to stop what they are doing and pretend they care to what you have to say. They will probably not even be listening. Then they will delete the email.
That's fine... There's a reason I have to call certain people... because they can't understand a simple email...

Also - They can delete the email if they want too... But if that email explains a new procedure and they fail to comply in the future then we have a larger problem with that employee... and they can't say they were not informed...
