I actually find that I get more annoyed with non-vegetarians than they could ever possibly get with me. If I don't order meat when other people are around, or if it comes up some other way, all of the questions start. Why this? Why that?

I just mind my own business and have nothing to say on the subject to anyone, but a good percentage of people feel the need to preach to vegetarians, or play 20 questions trying to somehow trick us into realizing that our reasons for not eating meat are wrong, or that we're hypocrites.

Do you have pets?

Do you wear leather?

Do you blah blah blah... ?

How many polls have we seen on ATOT by vegetarians or vegans or people with certain meat restrictions in their diet complaining about those who don't have such restrictions? I haven't seen a single one, though I haven't done a search. On the other hand, this topic comes up at least once a month here.

Get over it. The preaching by vegetarians is in your mind, as every single vegetarian (or similar) person I've ever met has felt the same way I do, and they dread having to order food around people who don't know about their diet yet.

Eating meat = biologically normal human behavior. Not eating meat falls outside of that, which is why you get questions about it.

I personally don't give a shit, if you want to walk yourself off the top of the food chain, go ahead.

I don't hate vegetarians. However, I do hate the ones that attempt to dispute our omnivorous nature by claiming that god or nature did not intend for us to eat meat.

My sister's been a veg since we were around 12, and of course I used to try and sneak meat in her food whenever I got a chance.

Now I don't think very much about it other than planning meals with a bunch of people involved is a bit trickier. But I find myself eating less meat just because now, no real reason. Like Baja Fresh, I'll have an ultimo and be fine without steak or chicken on it. No biggie.

Like I said, the menu is the only real thing that's hard to work with if you aren't used to it.

I eat seafood. I hope that leaves me somewhere above the bottom, though sharks may not take too kindly to this.

I agree. This thread is a perfect example. I'm guessing the OP got rejected by another girl and b/c she was a vegetarian, needs to rant.

The folks who get their panties in a bunch over vegetarians/vegans/etc are much worse.

I eat very little meat; probably around 1# per week, and most of that's seafood.

Time for a new reaction face SG. She's cute and all, but just as with women IRL, you grow tired of them after a few screws (or tugs as the case may be :sneaky:).

I hate that gif. What it looks like to me is SHE said something stupid, and she's making a retard face as you point out her error.

Not at all. Being vegetarian is fine by me. Its probably healthier for you if you do it right and its a more sustainable way to live.

Now.... if they're smug assholes about it.... that's a different story.
