which reminds me, I just got 4 boxes of checks that I really have no use for. I use like 1-2 checks every few months only because it's unavoidable (they don't take cash/cc). The checks were for like $16...should last me at least 10 years, if not 15. Hopefully by that time society will have moved completely to cc's and cash.

I hate getting behind fvcktards that dont even know how to use the selfswipe machine for the debit card and the cashier has to walk them though it.

Or how about people that dont have any idea how much is on there credit cards and have to keep trying different ones to get enough.

And the worst is people who dont take care of a card and its all scratched up and wont work so the cashier has to drag out the old manual machine that make the carbon copy of the card,I got stuck behind one of these people the other day at a gas station for like a $5 purchase.

I wasn't halfway through my first box of checks after four years and three bank mergers (with the original bank name still on the checks) before PNC Bank bought my bank, changed my account number, and made me buy all new checks. Bastards.

I verify checks daily where I work and words cant describe the frustration that occurs when someone writes the WRONG AMOUNT on their check. It happens more often than you think

I swipe my check card while the person is ringing up my food, I enter in my pin number and hit enter, once the person is done totaling it up I hit ok to the total and its done, takes less time than getting change for cash even.

That being said, I was standing in line at Walmart over the weekend and a lady paid with a check, I wanted to throw the DVD's I had in my hand at her.

I don't understand why people still use cheque. Unless you're extremely bad with managing money and can't control your spending. Credit card gives me anywhere from 1- 5% cashback, what does cheque offer in return?

The only people I hate more than check writers are the ones that are buying stuff with their foodstamp card. They always take too much time picking out the items they don't really want when they find out they don't have enough money on their card to pay for all the stuff they bought.
