When we have buffets at this banquet place I work, I cringe every time the event's over. They throw away TONS of food... we could probably feed over 50 homeless people for a week with the amount of food we throw away...

So if someone reached into your fridge, took out a carton of good milk and poured it out, you wouldn't care?

I'd care on the premise that is was mine, and I was free to do it. If someone else reaches into their own fridge and pours a perfectly good carton of milk onto their lawn it wouldn't bother me in the slightest. Unless I wanted some, then I'd be a little annoyed that they had goen out of their way to be a jerk
But on general principle? No, I couldn't care less.

I don't know....I do hate seeing people waste food, but yeah, if it was yours.
For instance, lets just say you have a roommate. You brought some food home the other night (take-out) but didn't finish it all. He bought some other stuff from the store, but couldn't find room in the fridge, so he threw your food out.
Would you care?

Then why don't you? I'm sure if you get in touch with your local soup kitchen or charity, that if you gave them schedules I'm sure they would find people that would even come and pick it up for you on location - you wouldn't even have to deliver it to them.
