Do you hate it when people chew loudly?

Dont you hate it when people sit next to you with a big cup of ice or chips and just chomp away? I mean they just sit there and every freaking bite is like a damn earthquake. Even better is when you are taking a nice nap and the guy walk in with fvcking pita chips and wakes you up with the insane noise. You just wish for death upon them, but you are too nice to say anything. However when you do say something they just laugh if off and say your crazy. From then on they will make it even more obivious that they chew so fvcking loud wit their mouth open. OMG it drives me crazy......:|

Sometimes at dinner my Dad chews obnoxiosly loud but since he's my Dad I have never said anything. I sometimes wonder if I chew loudly as well and just don't realize it.

No see thats the problem, I can take it when they chew it with their mouth closed, but these people take every bite with their mouth open, which just amplifies that insanely annoying sound.

Agreed, it's much more tolerable after the second martini though, so maybe it's a stress thing.

Even worse is my wife is a lipsmacker, she says it MAKES THE FOOD TASTE BETTER, can you believe this?

Gah, at least her good points make up for it and I'll probably be deaf in my old age anyway, so no big deal.

Hearing other people eating (especially lips smacking and other "wet" noises) makes me feel sick to my stomach. I hate hate hate it at work when other people in my cube farm do it. What's worse is when they get take out from a restaurant and stink up the joint, heh, curry or fish or whatever can just be awful.

I work with a guy who when he eats, he makes this squealing noise when he is breathing. Its disgusting, cause he is stuffing his face full of whatever, and he is horribly fat.
