Dave & Busters on Thursdays. College nights! Yay.

Most of the guys on the team are single and in their mid-late 20s so we usually can stay late too =) One of the guys takes the boat out to the lake sometimes for his family and once in a while the team goes out with him.

I play golf with one guy from work all the time, but beyond that, unless it is a random sighting, there aren't too many of close work colleagues that I see after hours.

im stuck in the middle of that myself. the bacck "shop" guys i used to chill with see me as management now, so i dont get those lunch invites when they order out for chinese or pizza anymore, but the other managers are a tight group and havent really asked me to come along on their daily lunch trips either. as for after work, i dont drink so i dont get invites to go drinking with them. id probably go hang with them regardless of the drinking thing tho, i like hanging with friends in bars and playing pool, darts or just chatting.

This is good advice I wish I had taken about a year go. Awkward relations with some former "buddies" atm.

I dont. It was a conflict of interest at my other job. I guess after so long I got used to it.

We've gone out a few times to have a pint. Usually we gather the alumns who were lucky enough to get out this wretched place.

I do occasionally, but I never mix my work and non-work friends. My office can be quite prudish at times and I don't want any unfavorable stories getting out.

All the time. Its usually very fun because we talk about other coworkers and decided who we should/want to back stab. Office politics FTW ;-P

Yep. Having left my "home town" for a job, most of my friends are met at work.

Old place I worked for 3 years, kinda. Once in a while a group of us went out. I don't work there anymore, but sitll occasionally hang out with one person.

New place I just left, nope. Everyone else is older, have wifes/kids. That and I didn't really like most of them.

Hang out my coworkers quite a bit actually, mostly for cycling on weekends, and occasionally we would visit a pub after work too. It all really depends who you work with, I mean some people are really easy going, and fun to hang out with others are a little less I guess. I've been a couple of times to England to work with our associates where I practically knew no one before arriving there, and yet we went to get a drink on a daily basis.
