You will get random connections from different IP's from time to time. Ignore it cos they were blocked anyway.

oh...also, what if a couple of the lists arent updating? it has some sort of error contacting the server or something.

The list server might time out if it's busy. If it repeatedly fails, you probably have the wrong URL for that list or the auto-allow for the EDU list isn't working. You can temporarily disable the EDU list to see if it's the latter. Also check the PhoenixLabs forums to see if a list URL has been changed. Sometimes the official servers go down so you have to get the lists from somewhere else.

I did a simple remedy for PG2 blocking LOTRO.

I just made the last octet 0-255 allowed for the IP range that was popping up.

At first I thought I had a set range all set up then noticed it jumped higher so I just made all open on that last octet.

Now I can play LOTRO just fine.

The only time I EVER got a notice from my ISP was the one time I decided to look into this program I knew nothing about called ...

Rome...

Little did I know it was an HBO presentation. I assumed the talk was about a tv show, and since it was being presented on my tv torrent website, I didn't think anything of it til I actually started watching it and saw the content...

Funny thing is, I didn't even have the thing being shared or on my computer when I was notified to cease and desist.

Another funny thing is...this place I live in has all those channels included for FREE in the amenities package, but I didn't have a TV so I downloaded my tv shows.

I don't think that is true at all. I don't use it, but was interested in setting it up on my firewall/router because it also blocks a lot of malware and hacker sites IIRC.

I had this problem too. The fix is when you want to update it, hit disable, then update, then when it's finished, enable again. Two of the lists (I think it was P2P and Government?) would never update. I update using the Disable, Update, Enable method after every restart.

Ever since I had my email account hacked, my CC info stolen, and an attempt of $700 worth of fradulant computer gear put on my card I'm ultra paranoid.
