Do you guys use firefox portable?

If so, here are a few questions:

1)why couldn't i just install it from Mozilla and not have to worry about it being portable? are there any benefits to getting this 'version'? and when i update, i should update only from the site, right?

2)any reasons why it seems to freeze every few seconds?

3)how come cache is disable by default? is this because they don't want it to take up space on the flash drive? If i enable it, the cache goes to the flash drive, NOT the computer, right?

4)Why is it so slow when loading new pages?

Sounds reasonable - I don't recall any of your problems using it on my voyager.
