Facebook, Outlook, Instagram, Twitter and etc..

I was reading through the permission list and some of it is scary. 0.0

They all want access to contact related stuff in order to offer social features. Because Android lists the permissions separately and transparently than give it in the background, it appears scarier than it is. Many people don't realize how much they expose of their information or open themselves to attack on desktop OS' or browsers, either - not unless they exercise due diligence.

That said, I don't think you need to give any of these companies jack. Either don't use their services/apps or control what you give them with XPrivacy or AppOps.

And if you have the Facebook app, you're likely already using Facebook. They already have a good idea of your personality, who your friends and family are, what you like, where you live, where you went to school, what sites you frequent, what your phone number(s) are, and what you do for a living. Oh, and their computers can identify you in images on it's network and presumably all over the internet. And if you are public or one of your "friends" gets hacked, other shady people may know that, too. But their app is what's scary. :D

I dont use any that you listed, not because of app permissions, just no interest on my part.
