LOL, Tina Fey's awesome as Palin. Very nice. Here's to hoping McCain wins so I can watch Tina Fey play Palin for the next 4 years.

Fey and Poehler were great.

That Space Olympics short was stupid.

Phelps was just a meh at hosting it.

They were. If anything Poehler might have been even better than Fey. Fey's impression is great, but 50% of that is the uncanny physical resemblance. Amy's take on Hillary's tight-lipped sense of rage and entitlement was a thing of beauty.

Wow...all summer to come up with an opening episode and this is the best they could do? It was pathetic and I'm being nice. I swear they came up with 0 new characters...except Barkely, which was "terrible". Frank Caliendo's Barkely blows Keenan's away. If fact Keenan is like the new Jimmy Fallon where he just cracks up and smiles during every skit.

Well if they do it will be "racist" It's in SNL's best interest for McCain and Palin to win otherwise they won't have any material for the next 4 years.

I like Fred but his Obama is weak. Too bad it's out of reach for Darrel Hammond - now that guy can do impressions.

Hammond does McCain impression - rather well, I might add.
edit: Poehler is leaving SNL after the election, apparently.
