Tina Fey knows how to work the camera angle, and the make-up people do a fine job hiding it. I didn't know she has a scar until I read about it, and even then it took me a while to see it watching SNL.

It's something she doesn't really talk about except that it happened during her childhood.

The hard part would be pretending her IQ is 60 points lower. The rest would be a breeze, the jokes should practically write themselves. Think about it, moose-hunting, snowmobile riding beauty pageant runner-up becomes the second most powerful person in the world. There's at least a dozen skits right there. And wait until we get to know her and doubtless charming personal views a little more.

I think one of the few bright spots if McCain/Palin get elected would be a renaissance in quality for SNL not seen since the Clinton or Reagan years.

I was reading something the other day (People, Entertainment Weekly, or similar) and they had results from an online poll. Tina Fey won hands down for the best chance of doing a good impersonation of Palin. The others were close in appearance, but really Fey was the closest.
