Do you guys play video games for more then 9 hours a day?

A couple times I've probably played more than 9 hours in one day, but not straight.

I have, but not on a regular basis and not since I severed all ties to MMORPG's.

I play for an hour or two after I come home from work (unless there's something on Tivo that I'd rather watch), and maybe 2-3 hours on my days off is there's nothing else going on. that's about it, though.

Only when my cousins from out of town come over or I go over there. It's all Halo, all the time. I used to game quite a lot back in my Quake 2 days - I pwned as a HPB

9hrs?? Damn, that's longer than my work shift in a day. Good god, go out and smell the fresh air. Then go back inside and game for another 10hrs

When I first got HALO, it was really just work --> come back from work --> Halo --> sleep --> work...

so I average around 6-7 hours a day, everyday.

Can't do that anymore.

I refuse to get any of those RPGs now that I'm in college.
It would probably ruin my life.

I might have made it that long with my friends playing Goldeneye once.

When I used to go to lan parties all the time, it wasn't uncommon to play for more than 12 hours at a time (usually more than 24 hours of violence laden goodness). Lately, I just play games all night on my nights off, so about 8-9 hours a night (for 3 nights). I figure it'll be about the same when D3 comes out, but I'll be playing D3 constantly instead of swapping games whenever I get bored).

i distinctly remember playing windwaker pretty much nonstop when it came out. my roommate asked me for a ride up to class and I had been sitting at the couch for so long that i fell right over like a friggin tree when I went to go to the car.

i had to spend like 15 minutes massaging my legs so i could drive. got every single figurine and played through both costumes though.

I finished halflife when it came out - took me 40 hours of playing continuously with breaks only for food and for excretion. That was back in college. Nowadays, I play maybe an hour, if at all, a day.

When I played Everquest I broke 24 hours a couple times.

Back when I was heavy into Ultima Online I was playing at least 60 hours a week. I chose Ultima over everything. It was the craziest thing.... But if I could recapture that experience in a new game, and play it for another 7 years, to the detriment of the rest of my life, I would do it in a heartbeat. It was magical.

Nowadays I might play 30 minutes of Call of Duty a day on my favorite server. I get so angry if I play more than that. Mainly I get mad that other people are better than me. It's pretty silly.

I remember playing CS all day long a couple times. Wake up, game, eat, game, eat, game, sleep.

I only play about 3-4 hours a week now approx.

winter vacation during Sophomore year of college, I was unemployed for the entire month. I woke up around 2-3 pm, ate lunch in front of the computer, played EQ non-stop till I had to take another food break (usually around midnight), and then played non-stop until 6 or 7 am.

most days, I didn't even shower or put on clothes unless my parents were home (note how the above schedule completely avoids all contact with other family members... whenever I came up from the basement to eat, my mom/dad/sister were all either at work/school or asleep).

looking back on it kinda freaks me out. I couldn't imagine falling that deep into a game ever again. today, most MMORPG's just bore the crap out of me.

YOu might wanna try Ragnarok Online hat game kept me awake for 40 hours straight. Nowadays i barely game. dont have time . working -> planning wedding -> sleeping -> working -> planning wedding and so on and so on

I almost never game. Lately, I've been on a Warcraft 3 binge.. usually a couple of hours a day. But that's about it in the last several years...

I couldn't stay sharp at UT2k3 or 2k4 for more than 2 hours or so, but I wasn't chugging Red Bull or anything. With a game like WoW I could easily play all day if I didn't have anything else to do.
