errr no it doesnt have a name :p
unless you count network names
then each computer is called box1 box2 box3 :p lol

In that case no, it?s an inanimate object which has no personality so therefore doesn?t need an identity (like a lot of people I know at University actually).

That's what I assumed you meant. Network names, they go after swords and other similar weapons.

Katana and BattleAxe now. I'll use BroadSword, Claymore, WarHammer, MorningStar etc as I add more to the network (mostly Midevial Europe types, but I threw in the Katana because it's just to cool to be left out).

But I don't consider that to be my computer's "name" for anything other than networking purposes.

My main computer with everything loaded is called "Fluffy". My crappy celeron is called "Bubbles".

Don't ask.

yeah, mine's name is "Mercury" but only for networking purposes. When I'm talking about it I call it the "Black one." My other comp is "Prometheus," but only "the slow one" in normal conversation.
