haha i bought a 700m from the 750 off promo, all of a sudden ebay is flooded with them. The great thing is that you can probbaly snag a 700M for less than 850 (original price i bought it for) and screw the sellers over. 🙂
 
sellers always do bid shielding.

once i was bidding on this dell notebook hdd caddy for 0.01 at the last minute and a zero-feedback user sniped it within like 3 seconds of ending

Preach brotha! I remember last fall, I actually did make a decent profit reselling a "$750 Off $1499" laptop. When the deal came around a month ago (near Dell's end of quarter), my profit was cut in half.

There is definitely more competition out there, and the profits are getting very slim. If you have any doubts, check out threads on Fatwallet for Dell deals...lots of people buying multiples to make a quick buck.

Thanks! I've had to change it about 10 times this week. I think the body count was at 1,635 a few days ago, and then American bodies just started dropping recently in our continuing effort to win their hearts and minds.

EDIT: Found it. Check that out. 62 for the month so far, and 18 since Sunday! Sheesh!

Actually I think we should send MORE troops...you know, like enough to actually secure the country...

Who cares if we lose a few (thousand) troops and a few hundred billion dollars along the way...it was worth it to recover all that sarin, VX, and yellow-cake uranium from Saddam.

I myself am going camping with my gf for 4 days. Grilling steaks, chilling in the hammock, enjoying a few margaritas by the lake.
On monday we are going to a wreath laying ceremony at the local veterans cemetery.

Casualties of war is part of war. We all know that. What I don't understand is Saddam/Iraq aren't even the ones who 9/11'd us. Bush himself gave an entirely different reason for us going in there; WMDs. We all know what happened with that. To date, we have killed over 6,000 CIVILIAN Iraqis. Many of these civilians or 'insurgents' are fathers and brothers of families who were killed by errant US bombs. They see their daughters or wives laying there, dead with their arms or heads missing, or there houses in ruins. They're enraged. What would you do? So once regular family joes who were just trying to get by, are now fighting back and labeled terroists. I'm not saying there aren't a lot of extremest maniacs there too. But many of those people have funneled into Iraq. Remember, the US painted the Iraqi general population as tortued, repressed people, not terrorists. The Taliban came out of Afghanistan. Osama is a Saudi. Where is Iraq in this?

The real reason we're in there is to establish a stronghold in the center of the middle east, for two main goals. One. Let the rest of the middle east know we won't take shit, and will kill anyone who isn't with us. Two. Eventually make a sweet deal with Iraq for oil production.

Bush says he want's to SAVE the poor Iraqi people. If he's so big on saving people, let him go to Darfur. Over 250,000 dead at last count; a genocide. But that would not be in the USA's interest, just like Rwanda, or Romaina.

As for the 1650 brave Americans who were killed. It's heartbreadking that these heros were killed over a lie, and a war that should never have happened. Bush will NEVER be able to wash all of their blood of his hands.

I mean I dislike bush and all but blah blah. This is a thread about ebay. Anyhow I make about 1,200 / extra a month with minimal effort on ebay all from deals from F/W or anandtech. You can also sell stuff in your local paper. People are usually willing to pay 10 - 25% more than ebay and there is no 5% + 2.5% + PayPal fees. All you get is the first one time fee and some cash from the buyer.

That is good to hear, saving money is what it's all about. If everyone was like me, you would make nothing because I'd would buy from elsewhere that is very low priced.

I too have thought the same thing on many occassions. We really do need people who spend freely and who don't price shop in order to keep us employed at whatever it is we do. I know that my own buying habits don't allow retailers to have much profit margin.

Being ignorant must be fun. I hope it works out for you. While we're tacking on numbers though I have a suggestion let's add the 10's of thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians killed, maimed, and injured in the crossfire? Or the number of lies/mis-truths told to citizens by heads of state to lead into the war? Loose a limb or loved one to the war and see how much you love it then. And put a leash on you're use of the word "Unamerican" would you? Since when was expressing your disapproval of way our democracy is progressing "Unamerican"? Since when is being cynical "Unamerican"? Grow up.
