do you guys like being nerds?

i'm just wondering if you guys actually enjoy being nerds or do you wish you were not a nerd.

in all my days of being a nerd, i've never actually seen a downside to it. i'm in the top 5% of the class all the time so people always look up to me as some sort of genious. i know more about computers than almost every single person i've ever met in real life. i have friends like everybody else but they also happen to be nerds. it's sort of funny when you say a joke and all your nerd friends laugh and nobody else in the room has a clue wtf you are talking about
as a nerd you get to say things that are stupid funny such as "if i turned into a photon, i would have to wave good bye" with emphasis on the word wave.

isn't it just great being a nerd?

You need to bone up on your grammar, sentence structure, spelling and thought cohesiveness.

ok there's some confusion as to what is deemed a nerd...i see a nerd as being one who has a passion for learning and knowledge. nerds are the guys who site in the front row, study hard and enjoy applying what they've learned in school to every day things instead of just leaving their education at school. example: i made a process of getting copper 2 ions to copper plate some carbon rods by dissolving copper in bleach, adding OH to make the bleach turn to chlorinated water, letting it sit in the open for a week then doing an electrolosis.

well... i dont spend too much effort at school (need to change) but i'm still a nerd

i just learn tons of "nerdy" things for fun since even elementary school

Im a physics major. so i can see why people would classify me as a "nerd" but i dont sit in the fron i sit in the middle, i dont study hard cause i dont need or want to. and ive always hated school. I also do way to many illegal things to be considered a "nerd"
