do you guys know net30 or net60?

I am hired in a contract position. My boss told me today that I am in net30's . He then says it means i will get paid after a month (ur salary in july will be paid in end of august). Is that true? it is my first time to take contract job, please let me know thannks.

Usally means you need to be paid, or pay (if you purchase something or whatever) within 30days or 60days.
