Periodically, I go look at the new releases on rotten. I don't "get off" on those pictures. I'm just drawn to them because of their extreme nature.
And now a story about why I don't look at rotten at work (anymore). I was doing that thing where I was looking at the new pictures, but I was doing it at work. One of the new pictures was the monthly FOTM (f-word of the month) picture. Now, I am being honest when I tell you that the FOTM is *not* the reason I look at rotten. But as it was on the new list, I clicked it.
Surprise surprise! It was a rather tame picture of a nude female standing next to some robot from the Dr. Who TV series. She was standing sideways, so the picture was probably "rated PG-13". It was no big deal.
I closed up the browser and went back to work. About 10 minutes later, the receptionist poked her head in my room and asked me if I had just printed something. No. I hadn't (I thought). There were only 2 other people in the office. So finally, I had this sinking feeling that maybe something *did* get printed off of my computer by accident. She was holding *6* pieces of printer paper, and she was acting real creeped out.
In the end me and my coworkers stood around looking at the printout. The top page was the nude with robot(!). I DIDN'T SAY A WORD BECAUSE I HAD NO IDEA WHAT ELSE HAD PRINTED AND WE'RE TALKING ABOUT ROTTEN. When she shuffled through the rest of the papers, and they were all text refering to links and so forth, and no more pictures. I quickly explained that I had looked at the picture and it must have printed somehow. Everyone thought it was kind of funny.
Not me. I still don't know how that printed. But I truly dodged the bullet that day. It was the ONLY picture on rotten that I have ever seen that was tame enough to be associated with me without tremendous shame and embarassment. What if some other photo had printed on the receptionists printer? It makes me cringe.
