Yep... between 1998-2001 I was tottally out of the loop... and didn't care at all.

yes, last time I was into a game was when BF2 first came out. Before that GTA: SA. I guess whenever a REALLY good game comes out I jump back into it.

i'm kinda in that slump now. there aren't really any good games out for PC and the ones i have got boring

Yes, I've ignored my PC for several months many times. I think it had something to do with the cycle of release dates for 'good' games. I got bored with the PC when all of the games being released were utter sh1t. Eventually some good titles would come out and I'd want to play them.

Twice. Completely lost interest with console games after the first PS and started up PC gaming. Played Ever-crack for a few years, quit for a year, then came back, and quit again. I don't have as much time now to play but when I do its usually something like SimCity4.

Yea, for the longest time all I played was CS1.6 and now I'm hooked on COD2, FEAR, GTASA etc

I played CS for the longest time... Then I just stopped, got hooked on online poker. Now I pretty much just use the computer for e-mail and ATOT.

i lost interest somewhere in 2001. I've tried to get back in w/ CS:S, it was fun, but I'm too lazy to load it up and practice more since I suck. doom3 didn't bring me out of my rut either. i only have a GF4 ti 4600.. heh.. i don't want to spend gobs of money on a graphics card too.... blasted other expensive hobbies
