It depends. I know enough about some people to know for sure are either joking or just having an off day and I'm more likely to cut them a little slack. But that's true of anyone in any situation. Those whom we know, we are more likely to give more latitude.

depends. i could say i do cause some posters here are just stupid.

JLGatsby when he was around

i don't attack ppl. i'll argue but unless they're being intentionally stupid, there's no point.
 
For me its not who I'll give a break to, as usually those I respect think similar the way I do, its more who I can't stand that I'll fall into the trap of putting them down. You know, those folk who have nothing positive to say, complains about every major corporation keeping the man down. It's that kind of attitude that just rubs me wrong.

I have greater respect for some forum members than others. Red Dawn, Amused, n0cmonkey, werk, BingBongWongFooey, drag, GalvanizedYankee, you know, people who seem to have some kind of reasonable intelligence and/or a kind nature. There are plenty of people here, I just listed a few.

Of course, there are also people that, based on the way they act on the forums, I would piss on if they were on fire. I'll refrain from giving examples there.
