I get in about 15 minutes early if all is right with the outside world. Why are you in an hour early, are stuck with a bad bus or train schedule??

I try to be everywhere at least 5 minutes early. Work is never much of a problem, classes are another matter - Metro has been playing games with us all summer and so the busses haven't been as reliable as they usually are.

actually its 30-45 min, my dad and bro both also commute to nyc, my dad starts at 8:00 am, I start at 8:30-8:45, so i take the early train with him, as all of us drive to the train station together.

I have a bad habit of being 10-15 minutes late to whatever job I have. Whether I live 5 miles or 30 miles away i'm always just slightly late.

15-30 minutes early. I'm the kind of person who would rather give myself that window just in case there is an accident on the way to work.

Usually within 15 minutes of my start time. If I worked for a place that actually cared (like my last internship), I'd make it a point to be a little early. But my company is pretty flexible about coming late, leaving early, etc.

I don't have a start time. I get here...pretty much...when I get here. But then again I could have put in 16 hours the day before or 36 hours in the previous three days, or been in working late the night before on the servers. Some of the 9-5 people get their panties in a bunch when I come in at 9:30 or 10:00 some mornings but they haven't the slightest idea how many hours or how late I was working the day before. The other part that gets me is living 1/2 time in AZ and 1/2 time in IA. That 2 hour gap messes with my internal time clock.

On "normal" days I try and get in before 9:00 though.

I'm always ~5 minutes late. I can't help it if I squeeze every minute out of sleep.
