the left lane is the PASSING LANE. If they are NOT passing anyone they should be in the RIGHT lane so other people can PASS them. THAT IS NOT BREAKING THE LAW.

A friend of mine got pulled over and was given a warning for doing 35 in a 55 zone.

ya, my mom got pulled over once for going to slow also, however she was doing 30 in a 45 BUT it was a city road, as in Traffic lights etc and she was in the right lane so i thought that ticket was uncalled for. he was probably just trying to make his quota.

Slightly OT...The other day I was merging onto a 70mph, crowded interstate. The person in front of me hit a top speed of 35mph by the time we reached the end of the on ramp (this is a straight ramp mind you)!! As we pulled into the right lane, cars were slamming on their brakes to avoid hitting us. I was completely expecting an accident out of this, or at least someone to smash into me from behind. The slow driver appeared completely oblivious to the danger they were creating. I was livid! :|
