Do you get angry at work?

Please explain the time you were last mad while at work and what caused it and how you dealt with it. Was it caused by someone at work, was it the drive to work that made you irritated etc....

for school, but feel free to rant!

Ok I do csr/tech support and when I can't find the answer to what I'm trying to fix/solve I have to call a specified group leader. When I call said group leader she just has a really bad attitude towards me everytime I call. I'm a new employee too. Anyways just the tone of her voice and the way she talks to me it's so rude. Anyways I was pretty upset at that and obviously I cannot do nothing. I just keep it inside and vent to friends. It annoys the crap out of me.

Every time my boss gives me a bunch of stuff to do, a bunch of customers comes in and I can't get any of the work done. Then my boss complains that I am not getting the work done. 😕

Getting asked the same question by the same people week after week when the answer has not nor will ever change.

they are starting to base our performance on "Behavior" in addition to results at work :Q

so now i have to be nice and hug people and junk to keep my high rating up 😕

what happened to the good old days where you could just work extra and perform well/get results and get a good rating? 🙁

now i gotta be "nice" :frown:

at my stupid lazy ass co-worker who messed up for the nth time and cause everyone else to do extra work to fix his mistake.

So what did you do about it? B*tch and complain? Just suck it up and do it? What was your solution and did it really help or rectify the stiuation?

I have no solution. complain and complain, and talk sh!t behind his back. manager hasn't fired him so there is nothing we can do. company is too small so we can't get him transfered. oh well. In the end we had to work overtime to fix his mistake, and then he gets less and less responsibility everytime. Letting him off easy i think, but its not up to me, its the managers that should do something but aren't

Being "nice" contributes to a pleasant workplace, people who are stressed from rude, nasty work peers cannot provide great customer service to clients.

i don't think i am rude or nasty

maybe abrasive or aggressive or too straight forward. i just don't play around, i want to get stuff done and i don't think about how people feel when i am in a project meeting. i stick to the technical facts and just want to know what needs to be done and who is going to do it and when, etc, etc

i gotta work on it :sun:
