I use gasbuddy only as a reference. The cheapest stations are never close enough to justify the drive to save a couple of pennies.

I gasbuddy because I'm cheap, it's in my genes (double whammy, half Armenian and the child of depression people).

I will not drive out of my way to get cheaper gas, but when I need gas and I'm going out, I'll look to see where the cheapest gas will be on my way.

I only really use it when I'm coming home from school. After not driving for over a month or two I have no idea what gas prices are like back in my home town.

I use it to time my fill ups, but that's about it. I'll keep an eye on it to see when gas is cheaper than I think it should be (this is not a good gauge).

No, I just fill up at the cheapest place on the way to work. I'd rather not burn up 1-2 dollars in gas to save 5-10 cents a gallon

Luckily one of the consistently cheapest stations in Silicon Valley (Costco in Santa Clara) is more or less on my way to the office, so I usually buy gas there.

I don't. Almost all the stations here are Kwik Trip (headquarters is here in La Crosse), and they all have the same price, obviously.
